Waste management issues have been discussed at PNRPU

The Third International Scientific Conference "From Waste Management to Resource Management" was held at PNRPU on November 30th - December 1st, 2017.

Guests from different cities of Russia, Germany and Lithuania, as well as representatives of the chair-organizer of the conference took part in the conference. Issues of waste management, technologies for their utilization and neutralization, as well as research results of scientists from Russian and foreign universities, the achievements of businesses and problems of municipalities in the field of operation and conservation of landfills for solid municipal waste disposal were discussed.

In general, the conference was attended by more than 150 people from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Kazan, Izhevsk, Tomsk, Miass, Perm and Perm Krai, as well as from Dresden, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Neuwied, Karlsruhe (Germany), Kaunas (Lithuania), Vienna (Austria). The participants of the conference exchanged experience and established useful contacts.

The organizers received a lot of positive feedback from guests and participants about the interesting content and high level of the conference.

The organizers of the conference are the Environmental Protection Department of PNRPU and the Regional Representation of the International Working Group on Waste Management in Russia and the New Independent States (IWWG-RUNISRB) thank all the participants for their contribution to the work of the conference, for their involvement into environmental issues.

We look forward to further cooperation related to the problems of waste management and resource management that get us united!
