Today, experts in the medical emergencies and disaster medicine of Russia and Germany made presentations in such areas as “Emergency Medical Services and Emergency Medicine” and “Emergency medical care in remote areas and sparsely populated regions.”
The symposium was attended by prominent experts in the medical emergencies and disaster medicine of Russia and Germany: the chief surgeon of the Ministry of Defence professor I.M. Samohvalov, director of the State Center for Emergency Psychological Aid Y.S. Shoigu, the heads of the relevant departments and clinics of medical universities in Moscow and St. Petersburg, managers and leading specialists of the National Center for Disaster Medicine Protection, Russian Ministry of Health, Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The German side was represented by the Director of the Institute of Emergency Medicine (Hamburg), prof. Hayntspeter Mecca, the representative of the Office of Health (Hamburg) Elke Hyustler Novak, Head of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine Germany, a total of 12 professionals.
In the hall of the Academic Council of the Perm National Research Polytechnic University, the symposium participants discussed the scientific reports of Russian and German specialists. The main theme of the reports was to help the victims in remote areas and sparsely populated regions.
