On June 2-4 the Foreign Languages, Linguistics and Translation Department of the PNRPU Faculty of Humanities will host the International scientific conference titled "The Russian language in the bilingual translation discourse."
The conference program includes plenary and breakout sessions, master classes, teleconferences, round tables and discussions.
Speakers include leading scientists, teachers and translators from Russia, Bulgaria, Poland, USA, Estonia, Japan.
The following issues are up for discussion:
• Scientific dialogue between Russian and foreign translation discourse;
• Discourse as an object and as a tool for linguistic, pedagogical, translation research;
• Information processing, editing and post-editing texts of special discourse when translating into Russian;
• Components of translation discourse;
• Translation / localization of virtual discourse in the Russian media space;
• Translator as a discourse identity;
• Translation discourse ethics;
• Modern concepts, methods, technology of translator training;
• Russian language in the training of European translation specialists;
• Professionally-oriented teaching of the Russian as native and foreign.
The conference is one the events aimed at the promoting the Russian language and education in Russian.
