"Brainy Studio" student team from PNRPU will represent Russia in the "Games" category with the project titled "Turn On" at the Imagine Cup 2014 – the world’s largest student technology competition.
The team of PNRPU students includes Ilya Antonov, Aleksandr Frolov, Nikita Galkin and Evgeniy Romin.
The Final will take place at the end of July in Seattle (USA). Perm students will not only compete for a grant of 50,000 dollars for the development of their project but also for a meeting with the Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
"Participation in the Imagine Cup is a test of one’s strengths, fair competition with peers, invaluable experience in teamwork and presentation of both yourself and your project. We were able to convince the jury that our project is important and promising. Turn On project that is presented by the Brainy Studio team is an adventure game in the platform genre narrating the story of an electric spark that is trying to restore electricity in the city. The project has been highly praised by the judges and took the first place in its category in the Russian final of the Imagine Cup 2014.
