On December 4-8, 2017 the delegation from Perm National Research Polytechnic University, headed by Professor Dmitri Trushnikov (Department of Science and Innovation) visited Huazhong University of Science and Technology within the international research project of the BRICS Framework Program for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Cooperation the title "Hybrid Manufacturing of Aerospace Parts: Software Modeling, Simulation, Verification and Development" (HMAero).

Maxim Masalsky, Master student of Information Technologies and Automated Systems (ITAS) under the academic supervision of Daniil Kurushin, Senior Lecturer of ITAS became the winner of the Thirteenth SCADA Championship (competition for the rapid development of the operator interface of the process control system in the SCADA system).

The Third International Scientific Conference "From Waste Management to Resource Management" was held at PNRPU on November 30th - December 1st, 2017.
