On June 18 guests from Japan had come to PNRPU. Our guests came to Perm to take part in the "Russia-Japan: a step forward" festival.

A Japanese delegation arrived in Perm to take part in the international forum "Russia-Japan: a step towards", which is taking place in our city on June 16-20.

 On June 9 at the Electrical Engineering and Mechanics Department of PNRPU student Mirzin A.M. defended his master`s thesis in English (scientific advisor – Associate Professor Korotaev A.D.). Subject of the dissertation: "The calculation and design of a linear cylindrical valve of a reciprocating motion engine for the drive of a submersible rodless pump".

An inspection audit with the changing of QMS area certification for compliance with requirements of ISO 9001:2008 for the development and provision of educational services, conducting scientific research and development as well as technological, design, construction and installation works and services was conducted at PNRPU.

"Expert RA" has prepared the third annual rating of universities in Russia. Statistical indicators and extensive surveys of 7500 respondent (employers, members of academic and scientific communities, students and alumni) were used to prepare the rating.

On June 6 PNRPU hosted the final of the first "InnoBiznes" contest of innovative business ideas of students and postgraduate students in Perm krai. The competition is held under the Russian-American "EUREKA" program, which is implemented jointly with the Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University.

On September 22-24, 2014 within the "Year of youth exchange between Russia and China" a meeting of the Association of technical universities of Russia and China (ATURC) will be held in St. Petersburg.

On June 6, 2014 PNRPU will host the "InnoBiznes" student competition.

On the 24-25 May, 2014 Farzona Davlatova a 2nd year student of the Applied Mathematics and Mechanics Faculty represented our University at the "Russian Word" olympiad for international students at Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod.

Visits of international students to the orphanage on Svetlogorskaya st. are already becoming a tradition. On May 25, our students did not only come to visit the young cadets but also to challenge them to a football match.
