French Scientist Will Give Lecture about Fibre-Optic Gyroscope

Note:
In 1979 Herve Lefevre became Doctor of Philosopy in an advanced topic “Fiber gyroscope”. From 1980 to 1982 he worked at Stanford University in California and continued studying the fiber-optic gyroscope. In 1982 he came back to the research laboratory Thales and became Leader of Fiber-Optic Research Group. In 1987 he joined Photonetics which was a new company and became Head of R&D.
Apart from fiber-optic sensors and gyroscopes the company developed testing instruments for fiber-optic network. In 1999 he grew into Senior Researcher. End of 2000 Photonetics was bought by a Danish group Nettest and a separate company iXSea was made for gyroscope developments. Herve stayed in Nettest and managed Photonics Department.
In 2004 he left for iXCore a partner company of iXSea as Research Vice-President and also worked in iXSea. In 2010 when iXBlue was created he became Leading Scientist. Herve wrote several books in fiber-optic gyroscopes which became real textbooks on fibre-optic gyroscope in general.
