The master classes were held as part of the International Research Group project Developing New Principles to Intensify Heterogeneous Reactions Using Power Efficient Activation of Interphase Mass Transfer.
Five lectures in English have been given to PNRPU academic staff, students and postgraduate students. The scientist paid special attention to using computer programmes for modelling and optimization of technological operations in chemical engineering processes and new ideas in theory and technologies of adsorptive processes.
Professor K. Kaczmarski is one of the leading world specialists in supereffective methods of liquid chromatography; and his lectures have mostly been based on the author’s theoretical and practical experience published in top-rated international scientific magazines.
The lectures were valuable for PNRPU academic staff, students and postgraduate students of Chemistry and Biotechnology Department. Other professors and associate professors from different departments took part in the master classes too: Chemical Engineering Faculty, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics and Mechanics Faculty; postgraduate students from Chemical Engineering Faculty, Civil Engineering Faculty, Mining and Oil Faculty; researchers from Institute of Technical Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, students from Chemical Engineering Faculty, Mechanical Engineering Faculty, Electrical Engineering Faculty.
Professor K. Kaczmarski took part in summarising one-year work of IRG 17 and making a research plan for the comming year. The trip also made it possible to discuss the cooperation plan between PNRPU and the Rzeszow University of Technology with regard to learning, students exchange and mutual acception of credits in case of studying in either of the universities.
