The second part of PNRPU Advanced Training President Programme for Engineering Staff

 The employees of OOO Permsky Karton (Perm) and OAO Solikamskbumprom (Solikamsk) had just had an advanced training “Energy Management in Pulp and Paper Industry”.

The training included 72 academic hours at PNRPU Energy Saving Scientific and Academic Centre provided by the academic staff of Automation Microprocessors Department. The study rooms and laboratories are well equiped. The students had the following courses: Energy Saving and Improving Efficiency at Pulp and Paper Industry Enterprises; Energy-Related Policy, Energy-Related Management at Enterprises.
The students had their graduation project focused on analysing ways of energy saving and improving energetic efficiency. 15 specialists have been certified after the course.
Eight best students will have a traning at Saint Petersburg State Technological University of Plant Polymers to gain the experience of developing and introducing energy saving measures of pulp and paper industry. Three students will have a training at Envidatec GmbH (Germany) to learn about advanced energy saving and efficient technologies and equipment.
Advanced Innovation Training Centre of PNRPU Mechanical Engineering Faculty developed the programme Optimization of Technological Process Using Advanced Metal-Working Equipment with Numerical Control SINUMERIK for Space-Based Systems.
Lectures and practical classes (92 classes totally) for employees of OAO Aviation gear systems and transmission gears - Perm Engine Company (Reductor-PM) were held by the leading specialists in machine engineering and teachers of Machine Construction and Technologies of Material Processing Department. The demonstration room PNRPU-PUMORI which has advanced equipment with numerical control was used for a number of lectures, such as: “Advanced approaches to process planning in production of conispiral and hypoid wheels”; “Computer programming of processing parts using NC workstations for developing advanced technological processes”, “Practical issues for training effective Process Engineers”. 15 specialists have been certified after the course.
After the course three employees of OAO Reductor-PM have been sent to the Gleason Works (the USA) to learn about PowerMILL software for optimizing the technological process in processing complex parts. Apart from that 8 specialists will have training at the state Central Institute of Aviation Motors n.a. P.I. Baranov.
