The traditional conference Perm Winter School this year will be in January 30 - February 1. The fourth international school will be devoted to risk management and modelling of financial markets. It will include scientific and practical sessions, presentations of researches and master classes.
The conference organizer is Prognoz Company. The co-organizers are Perm National Research Polytechnic University and Russian Office of Professional Risk Managers' International Association. The conference partners are Perm krai Ministry of Education and Science and the Scientific Centre of Perm Library n.a. M.Gorky.
Perm Winter School’14 invited famous trainers in risk management and modelling of financial risks: Didie Sornett (ETH Zurich), Ramo Gensei (Simon Fraser University), Aleksei Lobanov (Bank of Russia), Andy Jobst (Bermuda Monetary Authority) and others. The programme will have master classes in risk management by Philip Galperin (OAO Gazprombank), Arten Kokosh (OAO INTER RAO United Energy System of Russia) and Evgeny Rafikov (hedge fund Quantstellation) workshops and interactive games.
It is worth mentioning that Perm Winter School is unique if we speak about Russian financial engineering and risk management conferences of this format. Annually PWS invites more than 150 leading scientists and professionals in financial engineering and risk management representing large universities and financial organizations. A lot of participants join the online school (for example, 1700 people participated in it online last year).
Perm Winter School’14 will take place in the Scientific Centre of Perm Library n.a. M.Gorky.
