"Perm projects are very strong, Tomsk had projects of this level. Today the Russian Venture Company can single out several innovative projects. Among them - the new implant system for the treatment of patients with defects of the jaw, which uses new materials that haven't been previously used anywhere in the world. We also noted the Maugry video guide - a mature IT-project, which is ambitious in a good way and has a shot at going transnational. Another project for the production of biofuels offers a unique technology for collecting and recycling waste from plants in Russia - it could also potentially be sold to the European markets. And of course the robot Promobot in which there are elements that do not exist in Japanese robots, and which is 10 times cheaper than its American competitors".
Besides the pitch sessions, participants of the Russian Startup Tour 2014 actively communicated with investors, experts, colleagues, were able to get individual advice on a wide range of issues, work with respected professionals in the master classes and seminars on business planning, management and commercialization of projects, personal growth, strategic planning and team building.
