PNRPU students showcased their business ideas

On June 6 PNRPU hosted the final of the first "InnoBiznes" contest of innovative business ideas of students and postgraduate students in Perm krai. The competition is held under the Russian-American "EUREKA" program, which is implemented jointly with the Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University.

12 applicants were selected for the final stage. The final was held in the «Elevator Pitch» format. The «Elevator Pitch» format refers to a method of relaying one's business idea in a concise description of the concept of a product, project or service that can reasonably interest a potential investor. The presentation time must not exceed 2 minutes. No visual aids are allowed. The following criteria were considered by the jury: novelty and relevance of the idea, its commercial potential and the quality of the competitor's presentation.

The winners of the InnoBiznes competition were:
1. Oleg Kivokurtsev with the "Promobot" project;
2. Aleksandr Shaidurov with the "AVP-1 anti-vandal coating".

Winners are awarded a free internship at Purdue University (USA), during which they will have an opportunity to get expert advice on developing their own business based on the business ideas submitted for the competition.
