From 27 of June till 3 of July, XVIII International conference on aerophysic research methods ICMAR 2016 took place at PNRPU.
215 scientists participated in the conference, where 205 of them were Russians and 10 – foreigners who represented about 40 russian and 4 foreign organizations from 3 countries.
Main scientific directions of the conference were:
- diagnostic methods in aerophysic researches;
- methods of computing aerogasdynamics and applied program systems;
- aerophysic research methods in interdisciplinary tasks and aerospace technologies.
During reports discussions and negotiations they strengthened existing contacts and made new contacts with Russian and foreign colleagues, moreover directions for future joint projects were defined. The reports presented showed high research level in the area of theoretic, numerical and experimental methods.
The participants of the conference decided to focus their attention on development of actual, new and more effective technologies and researches as:
- highspeed streams with due account of real gas characteristics and chemical processes;
- ionisable flows;
- flows with energy wire and chemical reactions;
- laboratory methods of dimensions and transfer of results on natural conditions;
- passage/turbulence/separation and flows control;
- multiphase flows;
- acoustics of stream flows;
- high-perfomance calculations.
Outcomes of the conference will be published in AIP Proceedings and in magazine Aerospace technology (PNRPU newsletter). The next International conference on aerospace research methods (ICMAR 2018) will be announced later.
