According to the census of population in Russia 2010, 991,2 thousand citizens of Perm are representatives of 115 nations. At Perm national research polytechnic university study more than 150 foreigners from 26 countries.

PNRPU has improved its position in the rating noticeably – it is in the 34 place among Russian universities.

Britain company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has released the rating of the best BRICS universities . There are 55 Russian universities in the rating. PNRPU is in the 201-250 place in the rating.

This year PNRPU Foreign students Council begins work. Now foreign students can solve their daily problems, make acquaintance and communicate with each other here.
There are four sections in the Council that address main spheres of foreign students life in Perm: adaptation, study, legal sphere, sport and culture.
 

On July 5 exchange students from the University of Applied Sciences (Germany, Anhalt) got their diplomas at PNRPU commencement.
Two students from the University of Applied Studies studied at PNRPU for a year under the project «Double diploma».

From 27 of June till 3 of July, XVIII International conference on aerophysic research methods ICMAR 2016 took place at PNRPU.
215 scientists participated in the conference, where 205 of them were Russians and 10 – foreigners who represented about 40 russian and 4 foreign organizations.
 

The international conference on aerospace research methods ICMAR 2016 has been closed ceremonially on the 1 of July at Perm national research polytechnic university. Professors and researchers from different countries participated in the conference.

30 of June is the fourth day of the international conference ICMAR 2016. In the first half of the day there were three and then four work sections dedicated to specified aerospace technologies issues. The conference will last till July, 3.

On June 28 specialists of PNRPU International Relations Office met with foreign participants of ICMAR conference.

On June 24 foreign students graduated from PNRPU Foundation studies for foreigners and got their graduation certificates.

International conference IMCAR 2016 on aerospace research methods continues its work at PNRPU. 28 June is the second day of the conference.
International conference on aerospace research methods has been organized every 2 years. This year the conference has been organized for the 18 time.
 

On June 27, the international conference on aerospace research methods started in Perm, in PNRPU.

Under the project realizing by international research groups and the double diploma program realizing between PNRPU chair «Microprocessing automation facilities» and Anhalt University of Applied Sciences faculty of informatics and languages, German delegation  visited PNRPU on June 19-26.

On June 16-17, 2016 PNRPU foreign students visited city Samara to participate in the international research and practice interdepartmental conference «Modern penal system: science and practice cooperation».

On July 20, consul general of the Socialistic Republic of Vietnam in city Ekaterinburg Vu Zui Myng visited Perm national research polytechnic university. During the meeting possibilities of cooperation between PNRPU and Vietnam universities were discussed.

The rating QS Iniversity Rankings: EECA 2016 has been released on site Topuniversities. The rating includes top 200 universities of developing Europe and Central Asia regions.  There are 64 Russian universities in the rating and Perm national research polytechnic university is one of them.

PNRPU partners from Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (German) will give master classes in English at PNRPU

On April 8, 2016 Elena Seredkina, associate professor of the Department of Philosophy and Law, Head of Research Laboratory RRI_Lab received confirmation from Bonn that she had won a grant of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

At the Department of Environmental Protection a master-class by Marco Ritzkowski, a German expert in the field of design and operation of solid waste landfills, was held.
