On December 4-8, 2017 the delegation from Perm National Research Polytechnic University, headed by Professor Dmitri Trushnikov (Department of Science and Innovation) visited Huazhong University of Science and Technology within the international research project of the BRICS Framework Program for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Cooperation the title "Hybrid Manufacturing of Aerospace Parts: Software Modeling, Simulation, Verification and Development" (HMAero).

Maxim Masalsky, Master student of Information Technologies and Automated Systems (ITAS) under the academic supervision of Daniil Kurushin, Senior Lecturer of ITAS became the winner of the Thirteenth SCADA Championship (competition for the rapid development of the operator interface of the process control system in the SCADA system).

The Third International Scientific Conference "From Waste Management to Resource Management" was held at PNRPU on November 30th - December 1st, 2017.

The delegation from China University of Petroleum visited PNRPU on November 30th, 2017. The representatives of the partner universities gave their presentations about the scientific and academic opportunities and outlined the plan of cooperation for 2018-2019. 

Elena Seredkina, Associate Professor of PNRPU Department of Philosophy and Law, Head of RRI_Lab gave a talk “Participatory turn in the field of Technology Assessment from the global and national perspectives” at the School of Philosophy, Renmin University of China (Beijing)  on November 1st, 2017. 

On December 12-13, 2017 the Department of "Materials, Technologies and Design of Machines" at Mechanical Engineering Faculty will hold the International scientific-practical conference called "Electrophysical machining in modern industry" for young scientists, graduate students and students.

On June 19-20, 2017 Marian Wiereigroch, professor from the University of Aberdeen (the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland), gave a series of lectures in English at PNRPU.

On June 20-23, 2017 scientists from Anhalt University of Applied Sciences gave a series of master classes at PNRPU.

PNRPU students Maria Gunicheva and Olga Tyutyunschikova became delegates of the IV Russian-Chinese Youth Forum «Volga – Yangtze. Charming Anhui». In total there were 9 participants from Perm.

On June 13-17, 2017 PNRPU in cooperation with Higher technical school Magdeburg-Stendal (Germany) held the summer school on geotechnics.

On June 19-20, 2017 professor from the University of Aberdeen Marian Wiercigroch gives lectures in English at PNRPU.

At PNRPU on June 20-22, 2017 a series of interesting master-classes led by German colleagues will take place under realization of the project «Software and economic and mathematical models development to support management processes of innovation projects in industrial systems».

On June 8, 2017 a meeting with Stefan Keil, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Yekaterinburg, was held at PNRPU.

Between Perm national research polytechnic university and Verein für Natursport und Kunst Hase-Ems e. V. (VNKHE e.V.) international projects for young people are realizing for many years. We would be glad to see host families for the delegation from Lower Saxony (Germany) that will arrive in PNRPU under the project «ZIRKUS DER KULTUREN 2017».

On May 29-31, 2017 PNRPU hosted the all-Russian national conference with international participation «Deep foundation and geotechnic problems of territories».

According to the data providing by the international information group «Interfax», PNRPU has improved its positions in the National rating of universities in 2017.

On June 5, 2017 the opening ceremony of the IX International scientific conference «Translation industry» took place at PNRPU. The conference will last till June 7.

On 24-26 May 2017 Dean of the Mining and Oil Faculty Sergey Galkin and Director of the scientific and educational center «Geology and oil and gas field development» Pavel Ilyushin visited Institute of Oil and Gas of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Azerbaijan State Oil and Industrial University.

On May 29, 2017 the all-Russian conference with international participation «Deep foundation and geotechnic problems of territories» has started its work at Perm national research polytechnic university.

PNRPU scientists participated in the 3rd European Conference on Technology Assessment that was held in University College Cork (Ireland) on May 17-19, 2017.

The Department of foreign languages, linguistics and translation of PNRPU Faculty of Humanities invites to participate in the IX International scientific conference «Translation Industry» that will take place on June 5-7, 2017.

The choir team of PNRPU Faculty of Humanities "Junge Stimmen" came back from the tour in Austria.

On 26-28 April 2017 the International festival of cultures "Discover the world" took place at PNRPU bringing together international and Russian students from 6 universities of Perm.

It was the first workshop of the workshop series dedicated to achieve the most qualified project results.

On April 7-24, 2017 a big game took place again on the interuniversity platform Marketorium in Saint Petersburg. With the support of Andreeva Olga, teacher of the Department of Management and Marketing, PNRPU students won the highest award – the Grand Prix of the competition.

Under the competition of the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation PNRPU got access to the vastest full-text collection of PhD and Master dissertations in the world ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global.

On March 10-22, 2017 students and professors of PNRPU Electrical Engineering Faculty paid an official visit to the faculties of Computer Science and Languages and Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (Germany).
