On June 13-17, 2017 PNRPU hosts a summer school on geotechnics organized together with Higher technical school Magdeburg-Stendal (Germany).
25 German students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering from the capital of the Saxony-Anhalt have arrived at PNRPU accompanied by professors Ulrich Turchinsky and Sven Schwertt to listen to the lectures of leading specialists in the field of geotechnics, visit unique construction projects, including reconstruction of the stadium «Dinamo» in Moscow, visit laboratories, know more about new Master programs and scientific findings carrying out at the Department «Construction operations and geotechnics», learn geological history of the worldwide renowned Permian period of the Earth`s development and visit the largest in Europe karst cave – Kungur Cave.
The summer school on geotechnics is organized under the agreement on international cooperation between PNRPU and Higher technical school Magdeburg-Stendal. Excursions around Perm and visiting PNRPU study classes and laboratories are also included in the program of the summer school.
