During a working visit to Perm, Anatoly Moskalenko visited Perm Tech, and got acquainted in detail with the organization and logistics of the scientific and educational process at the oil and gas faculty. Then, together with rector of the University Anatoly Tashkinov, there was held a working meeting with the focus on expanding cooperation between Perm Tech and LUKOIL Group.

Every year on February 8, the scientific community celebrates the Day of Russian Science. Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation of Perm Tech Vladimir Korotaev congratulated his colleagues on their professional holiday and pointed out why the university is the center of fundamental and applied science of Perm Krai and one of the leading engineering university in Russia.

Perm Tech Specialists in biomechanics developed ambulance chaser for the muscles. To recover motion activity for those who are having serious health problems will help special kinesthetic weight bench developed by Perm scientists together with doctors. The kinesthetic weight bench passed clinical trials  successfully an in the end of the January entered the market.

According to the professional association of the digital transformation leaders GlobalCIO|DigitalExperts the project by Uralkali "Implementation of the mining-and-geological IT systems- GGIS" (digital twin of the ore mine) became the best one IT-Project of the Russia and in CIS countries. The system was developed by specialists from "Mining survey, geodesy and geo information system" department based at Perm Tech.
