Researchers from Perm Tech have developed a prototype of a robot that will track the state of fire-hazardous oil and gas pipelines. Due to its unique shape, it will be able to "penetrate" into complex curved pipe sections, identify damage of any complexity and assess the level of corrosion.

A young researcher from Perm Tech developed a method for abstracting rare and expensive metals from monitors and screens, which has no analogues in the world.

Scientists from the Perm Tech have created a project for a device for automatical histological analysis. The development will make it possible to identify cellular pathologies, including oncopathology, in humans and animals promptly. In the future, the device will be able to produce the actions faster and cheaper than it is performed now by several technicians. Researchers conducted a series of experiments that showed an accuracy of disease recognition of up to 92%.
