According to an analytical review of the global robotics market by Sberbank Robotics Laboratory in 2018, the market for service robots will amount to $ 88 million by 2022, and the number of their deliveries will reach 4,800. According to the developers, such robotic assistants will automate the processes associated with consulting people, saving companies' money, and also attract the attention of customers.

The Dobrynya robot will explain to the visitors of fitness clubs and sports grounds how to use exercise gym machines correctly, which ones are better to train certain muscles, and also tell about itself. When describing the exercise, the "assistant" will notify you of contraindications and the optimal number of approaches. The corpus and knowledge base for the dialogue system is developed for a specific site. This will improve the quality of the robot's work and the relevance of its answers.

The robot size is160 x 92 x 80 cm and it is equipped with autonomous voice recognition and synthesis systems. The "trainer's" field of view is 120 degrees, it looks at people coing close to it. Dobrynya operates on a 220 V power supply. Unlike analogs, the robot can work in any weather conditions.

The development of the dialogue system took place as part of the student's training at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (Germany) in the framework of the double degree program. The finished system was presented at the conference and was highly appreciated by German teachers. The team has already tested the development and presented a prototype of the robot. Dobrynya took part in several events where the developers tested its ability to interact with people.

The team's partner was the Severnaya Korona company, which provided assistance in the development. According to the researchers, the product will be of interest to sports complexes and homeowners' associations for installation on sports grounds. The developers have already received the first orders for the installation of the robot.
