The Autors of the project are Evgeny Tonkov, the student of airspace engineering faculty and Dmitry Kuchev, the master degree student of the chemical technologies, industrial ecology and biotechnology faculty. The project is implemented under the supervision of Elena Poezzhaeva , PhD in engineering , Associate professor of composite materials mechanics and constructions department.

— The peculiarity of our robot is that the entire load is distributed not on the shaft of the manipulator motor, but on a specially designed mechanism that allows to move heavy objects with high positioning accuracy. Analogs of the robot use shaft line in falling hinge, and in our development they are located in link bars. Due to the uniqueness of the mechanical design, the manipulator will be able to withstand loads 5 times more than other devices, - says Dmitry Kuchev.

Robots can be used:

? in engineering and petrochemical production;

? on conveyor belt lines for sorting items;

? as well as for complex and high-precision surgical operations.

Now Perm developers are creating a prototype of a robot, the next step will be to obtain an industrial design of the manipulator. According to the researchers, its cost will be 1.5-2 times lower than its analogues have. One of the Perm companies has already become interested in the development.

The project of the Perm Tech  students became the winner of the Scientific ideas 2021 international competition of I and III degrees (Rostov-on-Don, 2021) and a prize-winner in six nominations of the international competition of research works in the field of technical and physical and mathematical sciences (Nizhny Novgorod, 2021)
