The results of the study were published in the journal "Computers and Industrial Engineering 2022", which is included in the first quartile according to SCOPUS and WoS.
Today, some large enterprises work on a fixed order, and a number of industries are engaged in the selection of new products by an expert method. Such approaches make companies unsustainable on the market and increase economic risks during product changes. The model of forecasts of modern production systems proposed by scientists gives an increase in efficiency of up to 30%. During the study, the following indicators were taken into account: a production portfolio consisting of future projects; output volumes and their variations; characteristics of the amount of net present value and risks; restrictions related to the current state of the enterprise.
Associate Professor of the Department “Microprocessor Automation” Leonid Mylnikov said that increasing the efficiency of the planning system led to the improvement of related tasks: scheduling the purchase of materials and components for the plan, reserving electric power capacity, predictive management of heat supply systems and even scheduling staff vacations.
With the release of a large number of names at the same production facilities, there is a sequential change of the nomenclature produced at each moment of time. Thus, the specifications of the enterprise itself acquire a dynamic character, which entails an increase in the profitability of the company.
