A NEURAL NETWORK FOR DIGITAL MONITORING OF OIL FIELDS DEVELOPMENT IS CREATED

Reservoir pressure control in well drainage zones is a priority task for monitoring the development of oil fields. Up-to-date and reliable information is needed at all stages of oil reservoir development, in particular, for production forecasting and analysis  of the productive capacity of a well, development modeling and analysis of the ground. To facilitate the assessment of the energy of the deposit, scientists created a neural network method, which was subsequently successfully tested in several oil fields in the Perm Krai with different properties.

An unparalleled method for determining reservoir pressure, based on the use of artificial intelligence methods, is implemented as a module of a complex software product for digitalization of oil field development Data Stream Analytic (DSA). The program is currently successfully used to solve applied problems by specialists of the subsoil user enterprise.

Based on the formation pressure calculated using machine learning methods, it is possible to determine the reservoir development mode at the moment, design a reservoir pressure maintenance system in advance or evaluate its effectiveness, and also reasonably make further rational decisions on the development of oil fields.

The direction of scientific research implemented by scientists corresponds to the strategy of digital transformation of the oil industry that is as a key sector of the economy of the Russian Federation.
