Perm Tech international profile
Perm national research polytechnic university is diversified institution of higher education providing industrial enterprises with highly-skilled professionals in wide range of specialties. Perm Tech is one of the top 20 leading universities in Russia.
There are 9 faculties, 8 institutes, 49 profession-oriented departments, 9 specialized departments, techno park, business incubator, 6 engineering centers. Perm Tech has new subsidiaries: network regional intersectional center of competencies for additive technologies, the scientific and educational center of modern production management competencies technologies, 3 research centers and laboratories.
Perm Tech provides different sectors of economy, engineering and technology with highly qualified specialists. There are 16.1 thousand people who are studying at Perm Tech. The total amount of foreign students from CIS and non-CIS countries is 664 students.
The priorities of Perm Tech are the following: new engines and power supply units, natural recourse developments technologies, new materials and technologies, sustainable urban development, material and construction mechanics, robotics, intelligent systems, photonics.
The University uses modern trends and approaches for educational process, offers e-learning (there are 10master degree and post graduate programsbased on the contract between Perm Tech and 11 institutions, providing learning activity).
Perm Tech and Anhalt University of Applied Science carry out the double degree diploma program in innovation and information management. The master degree program called "Conceptual designing and engineering of power efficiency increase" in the framework of international project
Together with Ural state forest engineering university there was developednetwork module of e-learning for master degree students called "Intelligent systems of industry management". For postgraduate students there are e-learning programs as well, that are oriented to form the unique competencies based on professional standards of training program.
Perm Tech is very active in its educational process and annually Perm Tech is a platform for master classes given by key foreign scientists, lecturers and experts of foreign partner universities.
There are educational programs, which were developed together with the foreign partner universities: "Integrated systems of enterprise management", "Economy and management of the machine industry enterprises", "Management and innovations", "Theory and practice of the interpreting activity", "Economy and management of the industrial enterprise". All disciplines are taught in English.
Perm Tech has currently educational projects funded in the framework of Erasmus+:
- project "Internaziolization " of the master degree programs in Russia and China, dedicated to the electrical engineering;
- academic mobility programs for students and academic staff.
There are another areas of collaboration which are followed by Perm Tech: exchange education, summer schools, master classes. Perm Tech is very active in international collaboration based on interaction with academic community and industrial partners of another countries. Advanced project and science activity make it possible Perm Tech to remain competitive and fit the times.

In general, the successes and achievements in the main activities of the university, the measures taken in order to integrate into international innovation, scientific and educational space, contribute to the growth of the Perm Tech status, and to increase interest in Perm Tech showed by the leading international enterprises, organizations and scientific and educational centers.
