About the Faculty
School of Humanities was founded in June 09th, 1993.
School strategy is based on the concept of contributing to the development of engineering training with humanitarian values in terms of competence based approach.
School of Humanities implements the strategy of continuous training: Bachelor, Master and PhD programs. The training is held full-time, part-time, dual and advanced part-time.
School of Humanities focuses on BACHELOR and MASTER training programs:

School of Humanities annually organizes Russian and international conferences; holds competitions in English language proficiency, Russian history, Sociology and Economics.
The School of Humanities annually holds competitions of innovative and business projects, develops and supports the centers “Students’ business incubator” and “Development of innovative & entrepreneurial student competencies”.
The students of the School of Humanities show their high level potential in a big range of Russian and international competitions, get high scores in sports competitions and become the best in creative events.
The School of Humanities focuses on the development of international academic links with the following countries:
Germany (Sachsen Anhalt), Bulgaria (Dobrich, Sofia), Great Britain (Cardiff),
People’s Republic of China (Taiyuan, Qingdao, Nanchang), Serbia (Beograd), USA (Nebraska: Lincoln, Omaha), Czech Republic (Prague), France (Paris).

* – the number of groups and the number of places in each group are specially defined by Admission guidelines and by special decree of the Rector (of PNRPU). Program profiles can be changed if the competition is held within the programs (specializations) of training; ** - training is conducted with the use of distance technologies
ADMISSION
- Which documents should be submitted for admission?
First of all you should fill in the admission form of PNRPU, prepare the set of documents (refer to www.pstu.ru) and send all these docs to the e-mail of the Department of Foreign Affairs (e-mail: intedu@pstu.ru) and get prepared for entrance testing.
If you are the citizen of the country that requires a visa to enter RF you will need to fill in the invitation form which is required for issuing the visa (for the invitation form refer to www.pstu.ru).
If you are in the city Perm you can submit the documents directly to the office: Komsomolsky av. 29, main building PNRPU, Room 315 a, section A. For more details make a call: +7 (342) 2198-108/ 2198-668/ 2198-222.
- Which exams do you need to pass?
For Specialist, Bachelor and Master programs you need to pass 2 exams – Mathematics and Russian language.
For Preparation training and short-time training (including professional training course) no exams are required.
The results of the Unified State Exam (USE) can be taken as entrance testing results.
- How to pass an exam distantly?
Our university offers a distant way to pass entrance testing without leaving the country. The exam is held by Skype. If you would like to pass entrance testing distantly you need to send to the email intedu@pstu.ru passport scan and its notarized translation, credential scans with the notarized translation if required and completed form with the specified date when you would like to pass entrance testing.
