    training of specialists for development and research of motion control systems and navigation for motion objects.

    Programme characteristics:
    motion control systems and navigation for movable objects are one of the priority development areas in engineering and knowledge-intensive technologies. The development progress in these areas provides scientific and technological potential of the state. These areas combine most important advanced achievements of the mankind in applied mathematics, instrument engineering, intelligent computer systems of control and navigation for motion objects of different assignment. The following programme is focused on a scientific and research training of Masters in developing motion control systems and navigation of present and future in close cooperation with the major enterprise OAO Perm Scientific Industrial Instrument-Making Company. Most of the Department graduates are employed there. Apart from that, a number of specialists from this company take part in developing the curriculum in compliance with the Master’s programme.
