training specialists in development of mathematical models and computer simulation, working with ecologically-safe gas-turbine and combined power, utilization and gas compressor systems, aircraft and vehicle engines with different applications, space-based gas-turbine systems.

focusing on such major power engineering manufacturers in Western Ural as: OAO NPO Iskra, OAO Permski Zavod Mashinostroitel, OAO Perm Engine Company, OAO Aviadvigatel, OAO Proton-Perm Motors, OZAO Scientific and Research Institute of Polymer Materials, OAO Iskra-Turbogaz etc.
The programme aims at studying thermo-physical, gas-dynamic processes in development of productive and ecologically-safe gas-turbine and combined power, utilization and gas compressor systems, aircraft and vehicle engines with different applications, space-based gas-turbine systems; acquiring knowledge and skills of experimental study of gas-dynamics, heat-mass exchange processes in flow sections and elements of power generating systems, developing mathematical models and computer simulation techniques, designing gas-turbine, combined systems and their elements, performing gas-turbine systems and engines optimization.
The Master’s programme is based on a project approach combining an academic course with a real project work in partner enterprises of the University.
