Start of the International student exchange programme Global UGRAD competition 2015-2016 has been announced. The deadline for applications is 16 February 2015.

The Teacher’s House of the Ural federal district invites all students of the Russian language to take part in the Olympiad and test knowledge of the Russian language and culture. To take part in the first round you need to log on the website www.rki-urfodu.ru, pay your participation fee (100 rubles) and complete the tasks (you can choose the difficulty mode individually).

PNRPU Electrical Engineering Faculty together with Computer Science and Languages, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Engineering faculties of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (Germany) invite PNRPU staff to take part in the III International conference on “Applied innovations in IT” on 19 March 2015 in Köthen, Germany.

At the end of last year the Russian Startup Rating (RSP) published a list of 50 most advanced Russian startups in 2014. A panel of experts chose the best startups. The jury (50 people in total) included experts, senior managers and founders of largest successful companies such as Kaspersky Lab Russia, Intel, Microsoft, Helsinki Ventures, PwC, RUSNANO etc.

Imagine Cup is one of the largest yearly technology competition carried out with the support of the Microsoft Corporation since 2003. The aim of the competition is to create new and original projects and apps. Competition lasts for one year and it will be concluded at the international finale in the summer of 2015 in Seattle.

The Master programme “Underground and Civil Engineering” (Head - Prof. A.B. Ponomaryov) of PNRPU Department “Construction operations and geotechnical engineering” obtained a certificate of conformity and certificate of conformity and has obtained an European accreditation of Engineering Programmes (EUR-ACE Master) in Brussel (Belgium) as a European engineering master educational program.
