Perm Tech is going to talk about  "ROBOTICS, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, SOCIETY: NEW CHALLENGES”. When? In October, 17-18, 2019.

Perm Tech invites all students to celebrate the beginning of Academic Year. The event will be 2 September.2019 at 2 p.m.  in front of the Perm Tech Building. This day the 1st year students will meet the rector, vice-chancellors and the deans of the University.

Perm Tech was a great platform for interesting everyday master classes given by professors from India and China. The event aroused much interest for students, Perm scientists and representatives of industrial enterprises.

Second year students of  Oil and Gas Technology department were having practical training which was organized on the base of Krai Polytechnic College in Chernushka city and on the base of manufacturing sites of the leading oil and drilling enterprises of the region.

22-31 July. 2019 professor Karunakaran K.P. gives the number of master-classes in the framework of the project named "Hybrid additive technologies. Laminated strain hardening" funded by the Perm Krai Government.   

Perm Tech got the 15th  place among technical universities of the country in the category "Best universities". 

The master class at Perm Tech was given by prof. Marian Wiercigroch from University of Aberdeen (Scotland, UK)

July 19- July 26. the number of master-classes devoted the basis of vacuum laser welding and Modeling of the processes in penetration channel when vacuum laser welding will take place at Perm Tech. The master-class will be held in the framework of the project named "International research consortiums" funded by the Perm Krai Government.

More than 200 students of Perm Tech began their summer training practice that started with excursion to the production facilities of "LUKOIL-PERM".

The dance ensemble «Solnechnaya Raduga»  took part in IX International folklores festival «Gorcy», which was held in Makhachkala. The event jointed together casts from 15 regions of the Russian Federation and 10 casts from near and far-abroad countries.

The opening of the virtual reality and simulation laboratory – an innovative platform for the development of new technologies in the digital transformation took place in Perm Tech .

Master degree students studying the double degree diploma program which is arranged between Perm Tech and Anhalt University of Applied Science defended their thesis in the end of June.  

In June, the 44th world Congress of the International society of medical hydrology (ISMH), attended by 240 representatives from 47 countries, was held in the underground halls of the world famous Wieliczka salt mine (Poland).

Forbes compiled the ranking of higher education institutions, assessing not only the quality of Russian education, but also to find out which universities foster academic excellence with entrepreneurial streak, able to enter the Forbes list or become part of the Russian policy elite. 

On June 17 in Moscow on the basis of the company "Kam cabel" was held a meeting devoted to the development of cooperation in the field of interaction with domestic and foreign specialized scientific organizations.

All students are studying at Oil and Gas engineering faculty, and they are acquiring the specialty which is related with drilling of oil and gas wells, because the place where they are from is active in oil production.. 

Perm Tech delegation visited Quingdao Hich-Tech science park to meet new achievements in service and industrial robotic engineering. Also there were carried on negotiations with representatives of China investment company Jinmao"  and China University of Petroleum. 

Perm Tech became a full member of the Association  of Volga Federal District Universities, Russian Federation and  Top and mid-channel Chang Jiang river province in People's Republic of China.

Traditional Russian-German project week started the week before and lasted till 8th June. It should be noted that this traditional annual event is organized in the frame of the project  "Double degree diploma" between Perm Tech and Anhalt University of Applied science.

The collaboration between Perm Tech and TU Wien started more than twenty years ago.  The beginning of cooperation was published in the previous article.

Traditional Russian-German project week that is the part of cooperation between Anhalt University of Applied Science and Perm Tech has been started.

Environment protection department together with IWWG-RUNISRB are holding  the IV international conference "From waste management to resource management". Scientist  from both Russian and foreign  universities, institutes and research centers, representatives of industrial and public organizations, under and post graduates students are invited to the conference.

For all seasons, the main historical task of universities was the preservation and development of knowledge, especially through the exchange of knowledge between teachers and students. 

The German-Russian Days of Science were carried out on the base of Perm Tech on 20th of May. The event was held in order to find new partners for scientific and educational cooperation, identify the challenges and problems that science, education and society face within the context of globalization.

Five projects conducted by the scientists of Perm Tech have got the President funding.

Representatives of the Department of Foreign Languages, Linguistics and Translation of our University: Elena V. Alikina, Dr. of Pedagogy, Prof., Head of the Department, and Kirill I. Falko, senior lecturer  held lectures and master-classes for students of Minsk State Linguistic University (Belarus).

From April 30 to May 1, the All-Russian Competition of Amateur Choreographic Collectives by the name of  M.S. Godenko was held in Krasnoyarsk. The Sunny Rainbow of the Perm National Research Polytechnic University adequately represented the folk art of the Kama Region, becoming the winner of the competition and winning the title of Laureate! 

In early May, the international rating agency RUR published the latest ranking edition of the world's leading universities -  the RUR World University Rankings 2019. It includes leading universities according to the level of educational and research activities, publishing activity, attracting foreign teachers and students, financial stability and interaction with industrial partners.
