In the framework of studying at Perm Tech foreign students of the 1st year visited the museum of Perm oil situated in LUKOIL-PERM Company.

In the beginning of December there was an incredible event -International scientific research conference  "From waste management to recourse management". The key player and organization of the event was the "Environmental protection" department of Perm Tech together with IWWG Regional Branch for Russia and New Independent States.

Professor David MacDonald came to Perm Tech in the framework of international scientific research group project that is devoted to development of technology of oil reservoirs wells orient penetrating taking into account the rocks hydrogeomechanics

Perm Tech together with Kazan federal university organized the English language dictation, that put together more than 100 participants from schools, universities, and Non-University Level Higher Education organizations of Perm and Perm Krai.

On 11 December. 2019 Anatoliy Tashkinov , the rector of Perm Tech, and Vagit Alikperov, the president of LUKOIL and Nikolay Palchikov, the head of Kogalim city signed the tripartite agreement. 

In the beginning of December there was IV International scientific research conference devoted to the wastes treatment and management. There were both Russian and foreign experts.

In the beginning of December Elena Alikina, the head of department "Foreign languages, linguistics and translation" became emeritus professor of the University of Sanya (China).

Perm Tech got the 2nd place among Russian universities in "green" university international ranking. 

Today the wide range of workshops are beginning at Perm Tech. In the framework of international research groups project IRG-31 there are following workshops organized.

Anastasia Chugainova the post graduate student studying at Environmental protection department  got a funding from the Russian government that allowed to have a scholarship at Hamburg university of technology.

In October there was international student school which was organized  on the base on University of applied sciences Magdeburg Stendal (Germany). Another two universities taken in the school were Perm Tech (Russia) and Technological University of Quindao (China).

Peer reviewed journal "Times Higher Education published thematic ranking in physical sciences. The total number of assessed universities was 1055 universities, representing more than 90 countries worldwide.

The proposed approach will lead to efficient waterflooding of oil reservoirs and as a result is a high rates of oil production. The research results obtained during the grant of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research are published in the October issue of the journal "Geology and Geophysics".

On 18 November.2019 the university minister of the Russian Federation Mihail Kotukov came to Perm with the working visit. The minister was showed the place where the scientific educational center "Sustainable subsurface management" and Perm Tech center of geology and oil and gas fields developments is situated.

18 November and 19 November.2019  there were several workshops presented by. Evgeniy Barkanov, Prof. Dr.-Ing and Andrey Kovalev, D.Eng.Sc.

It is not the first time Michael Joseph Kerins comes to Perm. He visits Perm every year. He comes to schools, universities, talking to the audience and telling them very fascinating tales . This year students from "Foreign languages, linguistics and translation" department of Perm Tech  were his interpreters.

The associate professor Igor Bezukladnikov and the post graduate student and at the same time the director of the "F2 Innovations" company Evgeniy Matveev presented their own project devoted to the extruding machine for 3-D printers, which was supported by the Skolkovo funding.

The team from "Construction operations and geotechnique" developed first technology in Russia for improving the ground with the help of polymeric fiber.

On 11 November. 2019 there was a meeting with the governor of Perm Krai Maxim Reshetnikov who visited Perm Tech and had an interesting talk with students and postgraduates.

There are 13 agents from African states studying at Perm Tech. Recently there was a summit called "Russia-Africa" placing in Sochi. About 10 thousand participants took part in it. There were presented 54 countries of the continent, as well as 8 the largest African integration associations and organizations.

21 October, 2019 Perm Tech was a platform for Volga Federal District mine operators conference.

In the end of September there was the final international conference devoted to the Erasmus + INSPIRE  "Internationalization of the master degree programs in electric engineering in Russia and in China".

There were signed two agreement between Perm Krai and public joint-stock company "LUKOIL". The first agreement was devoted to collaboration for setting up Perm scientific-educational center (SEC) "Sustainable natural recourse management", as for the second one, it was supplementary protocol of the main agreement between Perm Krai and public joint-stock company "LUKOIL" for the next year.

17 and 18 October was held the international scientific research conference "Robotics, artificial intelligence, society: new challenges".

Master degree students of the second year studying and the postgraduate student went to the partner university Magdeburg Stendal, Germany. The study tour is funded by the DAAD grant.

A week ago there was a scientific research conference of young scientists and lecturers who are the academic staff of oil and gas faculty and chemical technology, industrial ecology and biotechnology faculty. Their researches were funded by the LUKOIL charity fund.

Beginning from September 2019 Professor Kutz and Professor Krause from the Anhalt University of applied science started their work at "Information technology and automated system" department, Perm Tech. 

The beginning of the academic year started from classes given by the foreign lecturers  for bachelor and master degree students and academic staff.

Perm Tech took part in the meeting with Gazprom Neft Shelf, the affiliated company of Gazprom Neft, which is the only oil company making oil on the arctic shelf of Russia.

Perm Tech signed the collaboration agreement during the assembly of Russian-Kyrgyz consortium of engineering universities (RKCEU).
